This significant mass provides natural structural stability; however, we engineer each base—whether stone or steel—to exceed the weight requirements for daily use. We recommend professional assembly to ensure the top is perfectly centered on the pedestal for maximum load distribution.

Can I customize the edge profile and height of the table?

Absolutely. We offer several bespoke edge profiles, from a minimalist "Bullnose" to a dramatic "Sharknose" beveled edge. Our standard dining height is 75cm (29.5"), but we can adjust the fabrication of the stone base to match your specific interior design requirements, ensuring the perfect ergonomic fit for your seating collection.

What is the difference between Honed and Polished marble finishes for dining?

A Honed finish offers a matte, velvety surface that is highly effective at concealing minor scratches and "etching" over time, making it the preferred choice for daily dining. A Polished finish provides a high-gloss, reflective surface that enhances the depth of the marble's color and veining.

Can I select the specific marble slab for my custom dining table?

Yes. As part of our bespoke stone service, we provide high-resolution photographs and videos of the raw marble slabs currently available in our Italian workshop. This allows you to hand-select the specific Calacatta or Arabescato block for your table, ensuring the natural veining and "movement" of the stone perfectly align with your interior design vision.

How are the marble top and pedestal base safely connected?

Our tables utilize a precision-engineered mounting system for maximum safety. Each solid marble top is fitted with a reinforced baseplate that aligns with pre-drilled bolt points in the pedestal. This creates a secure, monolithic connection that stabilizes the significant weight—often up to 400kg (880 lbs)—ensuring the table remains perfectly level and resistant to tipping or shifting during use.
